Recently I've been working a lot with clients who are looking for inspiration about what to do next in their careers.  Successful and respected, these professionals have achieved a level of mastery in their chosen field.  From the outside all seems well - they are in good corporate positions, generously compensated and secure in their achievements.  However, when pressed, they describe a restlessness and talk about feeling disconnected from their career, disillusioned or disappointed with their current role and unsure of what to do about it. Often the feeling of uncertainty extends to their chosen profession, organisation, career and industry, despite this being something they have dedicated many years of hard work and learning to. 

No matter how they got to where they are, nor how successful they are, they want, and I believe need, to ask if this is still the right course.
