Stay open to being completely and utterly wrong about something you are so sure about! 

This is the last in a series of 5 videos I'm recording for my birthday - to share the lessons I have learnt over the past 53 years.
This lesson takes me back to 19th September 1996 - the evening that I met my husband - in a bar in Ibiza at around 5am! The lesson is that we must always stay open to the possibility that we might be very wrong about something - even when we are sure we are completely right.
Both my husband, Martin and myself learnt this lesson when we met - because for different reasons, we thought that there was no way that we would be right for each other because of opinions we held and assumptions we were making.
I'm so glad we learnt this lesson and didn't walk away from what has been an amazing relationship because of some 'truths' that turned out to be completely wrong!
