Is there a silver bullet to building great relationships? 

It's our 20th wedding anniversary today! Just saying that out loud sounds unbelievable, the years have flown by. Like everyone else, we have had challenges and celebrations, but I don't think it's the 'big times' that build great relationships.

I think great relationships, at home and at work, are built on the foundation of small, everyday gestures, thoughts, deeds, actions. And it's equally about the things you chose not to do or say, which acts as re-enforcement.

Like a jar of pennies, each one is insignificant alone, but accumulated over time they can add up to a fortune.

We're very lucky and count our blessings every day, but we also deposit lots of pennies in our relationship jar just to make sure the magic doesn't rub off!
